Compra lets you capture the 'why' right after a purchase on the Thank You and Order Status pages without getting in the way of your customer. You can run post-purchase surveys in two formats:
Classic PPS (Inline): Questions appear one-by-one inside Shopify’s Thank You/Order Status pages fast, lightweight, and effortless.
Long-form PPS (Redirect): A small card on the Thank You/Order Status page invites customers to “Take survey.” Click → opens a full, branded survey in a new tab perfect for deeper research.
Both formats automatically tie responses to the order and customer data, so every answer shows up in your Compra dashboard with real context.
When to use which?
Classic PPS (Inline)
Best for quick wins: “How did you hear about us?”, NPS/CSAT, shipping feedback.
Frictionless: one question at a time, no extra page.
Matches Shopify’s native look and feel.
Long-form PPS (Redirect)
Best for deeper insight: product research, roadmap validation, detailed UX feedback.
Your brand, your way. Full control over colors, fonts, images, welcome/thank-you pages.
Customers click a small block on Thank You/Order Status and complete the full survey in a new tab.
Create your survey (it takes a minute)
Click Create survey → pick a Channel. Choose Shopify Post-Purchase.
Pick a template recommended for PPS or start from scratch.
All question types are available.

Tip: You can switch formats later. Your questions and logic stay intact, the design options just adapt to the chosen layout.
Design & branding
Inline PPS follows Shopify’s rules, so styling is intentionally minimal (faster load, consistent look).
Long-form PPS is fully brandable- colors, fonts, images, sections, plus custom Welcome and Thank-you pages at the start and end of the survey.
